The Delta brand offers quite a few different water filtration options for you to consider. There are both counter top and under counter water filters available. It all depends on what you are looking for and how much room you have to work with. If you are simply looking for clean water to drink or use for cooking and drinking, then the simple under counter filter may be all that you need. If you want to get rid of all of the chemical taste and odor from your drinking water then the countertop model may be your best bet.
The Delta 8 is one of the better water filtering systems available. I was not able to test it out fully at my house, but I am going to give it a shot. I live in Florida, and during the hotter months the hottest water temperature is an average of 87 degrees. I figure the cooler air would help cool the water down a bit, plus with all the humidity in the air it should filter out more of the chlorine and minerals.
As with anything else taste is important. My wife and I try to keep everything as natural as possible. I do not like to drink straight vinegar water, so I was curious to see how it would taste with the pure water from the tap. It did not taste bad at all, but I do not think it is the best option to get if you are trying to clean your water.

The other option is the under counter Delta8 cart. This is a great way to clean your own water at home. It does a great job, but you do have to set it up, and you do have to measure how much water you think you are going to need. Then you fill it up, and turn on the machine. The water flows through the system and then you push a button to start running the unit.
After it runs for a few minutes you can close the lid and check the results. If it looks dirty or has rust on it, then you might want to clean it before you leave it. Otherwise it should be just fine. I like this type of system because it is so easy to use and you do not have to make a big change in your home to get clean water.
I will finish by saying that this system is great. I do not know where I would be without it now. My wife especially likes it. It is so simple to use, and it makes cleaning her favorite glass pretty simple. It also feels good when you push the handle and turns the faucet. She does not need to worry about her drinking dirty water anymore.
