How to use and install Warhammer Online add-ons

Warhammer Online plugins and macros are a great system that was developed to improve player usability. With plugins and mods, they can customize their entire interface just the way they like it. You can even add additional features that EA Mythic didn’t create. A player can customize their user interface according to their preferences.

Warhammer Online add-ons are often mistaken for cheats and tricks, but in reality they are not. Actually, they have the full support of the editors. EA Mythic created an API system that allows players to create add-ons. A gamer with some programming knowledge can easily create their own plugin and customize its entire user interface as well as other parts of the game. Even without any knowledge of the API or programming, a gamer can easily take advantage of already created plugins and use them as if they were their own.

To install an add-on that you have downloaded, all you need to do is navigate to your Warhammer folder, which by default is at C: Program Files, Electronic Arts, Warhammer. Once there, you may need to create an interface folder followed by an additional folder within the interface folder. If these directories are already created, you don’t need to worry. The additional files you have downloaded are usually in zip or rar format. If this is the case, you will need to download Winzip or Winrar to extract the original files. Once done, just copy the plugin you have downloaded to the plugins folder.

Once you start the game, your plugins will be active. Be careful when downloading a plug-in that requires you to run the file. There is never a plugin in the .exe format. These are usually viruses and Trojans used to steal your Warhammer Online account and password. Also note that some plugins may be out of date due to patches released by EA Mythic. Always make sure you have the most up-to-date version of the plugin you are using. Another thing to remember is that some plugins may have special slash commands that can be used in the game’s chat interface. You should consult your plugin manual for more information.

There are over thousands of ready-made plugins that players can use. Some of the most popular are map mods. You can find monster locations, items, a loot table, quest locations, NPCs, and much more. Auctioneer is also another popular plugin where you record and analyze auction house data. Keep track of every item sold, the price it was sold at, the average price, the minimum price, the maximum price, and much more. There are also a lot of cool mods to aid in RvR and PvE battles.

Damage meters are great to help gauge the amount of threat generated in a mob. This helps keep the aggro in the tank. Each player must synchronize their meter to determine how much threat is generated and transmitted. Healers and High Damage Dealers will need to keep an eye on this meter to make sure they don’t pass the threat from tanks onto a mob.

There are also many small Warhammer add-ons that can be of great help. Some add-ons can tell you when your morale bar is full and ready to be used or when an ability is available after a cooldown. Some plugins even give you a signal or notify you that your health bar is low or your action bar is low so you can take action to run, heal, or whatever you think may be best for your situation.

If you’ve been playing the game for more than 2 weeks and haven’t installed a plugin yet, you’re simply missing out on cool features that will make your life easier. Out of thousands of add-ons and mods to choose from, I’m sure there are at least 5 that will suit you and enhance your game.
