Tinnitus Treatment Remedies: Do Natural Tinnitus Remedies Really Work?

Tinnitus is a problem that a large portion of the population will experience at some point or another. In this article, I want to share with you some remedies for the treatment of tinnitus and also share my opinion on whether they have any merit or not. You may have heard of some of these remedies and not others!

The first remedy I want to talk about is eating pickles to cure tinnitus. I’ve heard that a lot of people feel like this works, but from my personal experience I can tell that it doesn’t really seem to help. Many athletes drink pickle juice to avoid cramps, so I guess the logic is that pickles can decrease muscle tension and inflammation. However, I can’t say it works.

Another popular remedy is to take more vitamin B-12. Some studies have linked a deficiency of this vitamin with tinnitus, however, medical reports are unpredictable. Many doctors will recommend a multivitamin to help cure tinnitus, so I suppose this might have some merit. However, I am not a doctor, and before starting any type of vitamin regimen, you should make sure you have proper medical clearance from your doctor.

Last but not least, aromatherapy is often recommended by non-traditional practitioners as a remedy for treating tinnitus. This can help curb tinnitus in certain situations, but it won’t always work. The philosophy of this natural remedy is based on the logic that tinnitus is caused by excess stress and aromatherapy will reduce stress. While this is sometimes true, most of the time tinnitus has another underlying cause.

So you want to know how I cured my tinnitus?
