Why the Catholic Church supports and manages the gaming venues

The Catholic Church is hungry for money and apparently doesn’t care where it comes from. In a recent report on the properties you own in Rome alone, the income is staggering. Some of the premises are used as brothels, others as gambling venues, and still others are high-priced houses and boarding houses. The incredible portfolio of properties worldwide is too large to even contemplate.

When Constantine, the Roman Caesar who established the religion in 325 AD, passed a law to encourage people to donate their wealth to the church, he created it to become the richest business in the world. Their income rivals that of the United States, and their power grows with their wealth.

Gambling is a curse on families and communities and yet the Catholic Church operates gambling houses in the Australian Capital Territory. These are mainly the Southern Cross Clubs, of which there are 5 locations of this type. They contain poker machines, games, grog, and other things. The pups operate as non-profit businesses, which means they don’t pay taxes. They also have games of chance in their schools through raffles, bingo, and other things.

While the organization gets away with it, the clubs are reaping millions. The story is that they donate to local sports clubs, social clubs, and community groups, but these are also involved with religion. It’s a great upbeat way to raise more money for the Vatican.

The incredible fantasy tales that the latter spreads could drive people trying to find out crazy. Governments, however, allow it to escape while the public continues to be misled. Players are encouraged to spend heavily and many lose their homes and families because of it. They will probably then receive gifts of second-hand clothing and items from one of the Catholic charities who pay nothing for them, but make money selling them.
