One of the most interesting components of the research conducted on the OBE phenomenon was the US military study of the use of astral projection as an espionage technique on foreign countries and various other enemies. As far-fetched as it sounds, the CIA conducted a remote viewing, or “seeing at a distance,” experiment that employed a number of highly regarded psychic spies, as well as common military intelligence, as a way of peeking into the chances of using ESP in the war, as well as, of course, seeing what the other guys were REALLY doing “out there”…

After a decade or so, the “official” lab was shut down and its results turned over to congressional oversight and review. Several other participants in the Star-gate project have gone on to highly celebrated careers as authors and speakers on astral projection, psychic ability, and one or two actively teach the ability to others in workshops around the world. A best-selling book also emerged from the same group, “Psychic Spies,” which highlights the experiences of one of the remote viewers during these experiments: his claim of developing psychic powers after being shot in the head during the Vietnam War was bolstered. considerably after displaying these skills to an incredulous military audience.

Overall, I eat a lot about this place, it’s just amazing, phenomenal and exciting that would make any hardcore “X-Files” devotee green with envy… 🙂
