The iOrion Productivity Pack is a new add-in to Orion’s Practice Management System that allows attorneys and legal professionals to manage Orion in their preferred Microsoft applications, including Word and Outlook. Its simple, user-friendly interface makes it easy for legal professionals to track their time, view month-to-date and year-to-date budget comparisons, or even just compare a list of Matters against their fees. Documents and emails managed from outside Orion can be linked to a Matter, and any iOrion time recorded in an appointment can be automatically recorded as a Journal entry in Orion for future billing.
Taking into account the growing importance of being able to quickly identify potential conflicts of interest, Orion has significantly improved its Conflicts search scope by enabling users to copy and paste names directly from a spreadsheet or text file. In addition, formal searches conducted as part of a lateral hire are now automatically entered and recorded in Orion.
Orion ePay is a secure, online payment solution that allows firms to provide clients with an easy-to-use link to an online branded payment page or to include a payment link on an invoice. In addition, firms can use the iOrion LawPay app to swipe credit cards for in-person payments. Payments are then imported into Orion’s Accounts Receivable Collection Manager module.
