Using Molasses as a Detox Formula

The popularity of molasses as a detoxifier is increasing these days, especially due to its easy availability and, of course, quite a remarkable taste for a natural cleanser!

Blackstrap molasses is known to do a host of benefits to the body, including healing tumors, edema, heart problems, anemia, arthritis, and other joint pain.

In addition to fighting acne, constipation, and anxiety, some have even reported molasses to be effective in turning gray hair back to its original color.

One difference to keep in mind when researching molasses is that there is a difference between ole molasses and blackstrap molasses, the difference being the fact that blackstrap molasses is made by boiling sugar cane syrup a third time, while ole molasses is the result of the second boiling.

The traditional way to utilize the detoxifying effect of blackstrap molasses is to take a tablespoon of the syrup in the morning before eating or drinking anything else. Another way or rather recipe is to take the molasses is to add a tablespoon of molasses along with a cup of hot water mixed with soy milk and ice, if necessary the time remains the same.

The effect of sulfur-free molasses is preferable as it is safer, it is rich in minerals like potassium, iron, magnesium and calcium, which means it gives the body the much-desired energy that most of us lack.

Lack of energy is usually the effect of iron deficiency, and judging by the iron content in molasses, it might be able to give us more energy than coffee. As for cleaning, the use of molasses as a detoxifier is excellent, it is excellent for cleaning the colon without the need for other complementary techniques.
