In the absence of the bodhisattva, the body will be kept by family members for several days in preparation for the cremation. What To Wear To A Buddhist Funeral Prayer

Another tradition involved with Buddhist funeral rites in Singapore is called gurumaton, which involves creating a hole in the ground on which the cremation takes place. There are various types of offerings made by the mourners and others to the deceased, who will be cremated alongside their possessions and ashes. These include playing some music, singing hymns, and burning incense. These customs are also done by the people of other ethnicities in Asia, as they believe that the deceased soul of their ancestor was just playing with the world, and going to the next world just like the deities.

When it comes to Buddhist funerals in Singapore, the mourners usually wear white clothes. They even wear white shoes. Some families also wear red or yellow clothes depending on the color of the garments they wear. When it comes to Buddhist funeral prayer, the funeral parlor will not allow any flowers to be worn by the mourners, nor any decorations at all. Instead, they only have white crosses or lanterns as reminders of the deceased’s life.

The funeral prayer of a Buddhist is different from those of a Christian. A Buddhist funeral does not have a special funeral rite, and the entire event is considered to be of less importance than that of a Christian service. However, there are certain customs that are common among all Buddhist services.
