DO NOT allow water to pool and freeze in fountain bowls, planters, birdbaths, and statues.

You should always protect any type of concrete fountain etc… from freezing conditions.

If you can’t keep your fountain, birdbath or planter inside, you should do the following:

Remove pump from water source and store indoors. Fill bowls or pots with burlap bags, blankets, or any type of material that will protect you from sub-zero temperatures.

The entire fountain or statue must be covered. DO NOT leave any surface exposed.

Be sure to place flower pots and birdbaths on higher ground or surfaces. Keep them away from water that can freeze.
