One of the most compelling aspects of studying the vast expanses of human consciousness is the incredible similarities reported by so many different peoples across many continents, cultures, and even centuries. In Buddhist and Hindu cultures, astral projection phenomena have been talked about for many centuries, and they have well-documented references to yogic siddhis or other magical and mysterious creatures found in these astral realms. Although many devotees of Eastern philosophies have interpreted these characters as mere metaphors or symbolic internal states in the meditative mind, many others speak of the truth that they are real entities that the projected consciousness will interact with and need to understand in order to move. up in the astral realms.

Where this becomes interesting to me is the incredible similarity these same creatures have to those reported by today’s astral projection devotees. Famed mystic Robert Bruce speaks in great detail in his most recent books about “astral wildlife” and other real creatures we need to be aware of in these realms, rather than just imaginary metaphorical figments of the projecting mind. Robert Monroe, arguably the forefather of the modern out-of-body experience in popular culture, also spoke about the amazing beings he met, interacted with, and learned about during his superbly detailed experiences in the higher dimensions.

Skeptics must ask themselves, are these richly detailed and incredibly similar stories spanning literally thousands of years mere human archetypes buried somewhere deep in the human psyche, or are they really real entities that real people are having phenomenal experiences with? in your astral travel? ?

I say: why not make your OWN decision…and the only way to do that is to experience it for yourself? Everything else is just “noise” in the astral background…

And it is, dare I say, just about the most exciting journey you can take…opening a small window into that great, vast, magical mystery that awaits us all!
