What about angels and digital clocks? I fell asleep just after 11pm and am still trying to recover from the DST change. I don’t really need to be up and working right now, do I? I had asked my angels earlier today to help me write a few more articles. So at 3:33 am they wake me up whispering something or other and insisting that I have to get up and work. Caramba! Have some heart guys! I have a two year old son for God’s sake. Don’t you know how exhausted I’m going to be trying to keep up with him tomorrow?! Nick Bunick spoke at my church years ago when his book The Messengers was a huge hit. One of the things he mentioned that really touched me was how the angels would come to him at 4:44 and how the numbers 444 would appear all the time in reference to them. I know exactly what he is talking about. They seem to have a great love for repeating numbers. So as I drink my coffee and wipe the sleep from my eyes, I ask them, “Well, what do you want to talk about?”

His response was to remind me of some of the things I’m looking into right now. It’s not a topic I want to discuss yet. That’s why I’m looking into it, so I can have something substantial to back up my claims other than just ‘hey, something really weird happened to me’. They said that it is not the topic that matters but the research material that I have found. My thoughts were, “What information? Anyone else I’ve channeled on the subject seems pretty vague and worthless. I haven’t found anything to explain what happened!” Exactly your point. Hey? Tell them to clear the channels, be more specific, responsible.

When I first started communicating with guardian angels and spirit guides, I used to get very angry. They would say the strangest things that didn’t mean anything to me until after an event had occurred and then there would be this sudden aha moment and I would finally understand what they had been trying to tell me. They liked to use visual images and keyword phrases that reminded me of a Google search. Then he would have to decipher everything to find out what the message was. I hate that. I am a busy woman and often have too much on my plate. Get to the point now!

One day I was told to buy a particular book on how to talk to your angels. That could even be the title of it. It was better written than most. My angels made me give it to someone who was scared and preparing to have surgery. I wish I still had it sometimes, but apparently I don’t need it anymore. Anyway, in this book the author talked about how to develop a strong and useful relationship with his guardian angels. He gave advice on ways to communicate with them.

One of the best things I got out of that book was the idea that I could choose how we communicated. She said tell them exactly how you want to chat. Do you want to do it through music? Visual cues? Do you want to be guided through humorous events? Up to you. Personally, I wanted to get hit over the head with a brick. Don’t use any of those wave puzzles or anything. If you have something to tell me, say it directly. You better have something more than a vague warm fuzzy mystery when you come knocking on my door. I hate having to guess what they’re saying. I’m afraid I’m going to make it all up in my head. I want clear instructions, clear information, clear warnings, and clear confirmation signals when it’s all over. I’ll repeat what I think you’re saying. So, I’m supposed to get a big thumbs up that it’s not some stupid coincidence.

The one area I’ve never been able to control is when they talk to me. I can ask questions and they will answer me, but not until they are well prepared. It’s like the topic I’m researching. They won’t explain it now, so I’m trying to find out if other New Agers have experienced it or heard about it. I haven’t seen anything anywhere. There are only vague things on a similar topic. Bah! I hate the wave.

Why are so many of the professional channels okay with the fact that they are not giving concrete information? Most of what I see channeled is just, ‘yes, we love you, we’re proud of you, you’ll be shifting to the nth dimension soon…’ They’re not angry gods threatening to strike us with lightning! Ask for some clarity now! What exactly do these other dimensions look like? Give me some scientific data to back it up. Maybe that’s why I’m NOT the one being told to channel those things! I would require proof of support before I would be willing to go public. That’s how I am.

I’m not supposed to channel big newsworthy predictions. I’m supposed to let them know that they’re available to each of you individually and that it’s normal to feel crazy when talking to them. I’m supposed to reassure those of you who hear you calling you to do some kind of good deeds and let you know you’re not alone. I’m supposed to explain them in a way that makes them less intimidating and more accessible. Honestly, they don’t bite! Just talk to them openly and honestly like you would any other friend. Tell them what you need, want, like and prefer. They will listen.
