Long Live The Passion!, Live Your Passion!

Have the passion, live your passion!

Take the children to school.

Working more hours.

Go to more events.

Have more meetings.

Have longer travel times.

Have longer preparation times.

Do you feel that you do not enjoy life as before?

Do all family, work and life commitments leave you tired?

How do you handle this? Everyone handles it differently and that’s okay.

What do you do to cool down? Why does that help you, specifically you?

What else could you do? What could you do less?

Sometimes when we are living life and doing many things, we do not feel passion for what we are doing.

This can be for many reasons:

1. Do we no longer like what we do?

2. We no longer like who we do it with?

3. Has nothing changed or is there too much change?

4. We’ve heard this before and if we hear it again, we’ll do something about it.

5. Could the way we are doing it not be nice?

6. The way we are interpreting or experiencing it may not be what we expected?

We should think about these 6 reasons and how they can affect what we are doing.

Is it for a specific reason, are they connected?

Do we think it is due to a bad experience or past situation?

Is there a language of communication with another person that we don’t understand? And I say understand because we may not always be right. It is the words of the instance or how we were responding or the understanding of the situation that perhaps was misunderstood.

In life we all experience things differently and 2 people can be seeing the exact same event and have 2 different responses depending on their current mood, past experiences and future expectations. Some people will believe that an act, or a communication will lead to only one result, this may not be true depending on the people and the event. So how do we understand this better? Part of this is being more present, do you remember in school when they used to say your name and you said “present”, what happened to that, now we are all busy on our phones or devices of interactions and there are multiple interactions, which can or not be a bad thing, it can be multitasking but it is not fully present.

Think about that next time when you take the kids to soccer, go to music, go to hockey, go to dinner as a family. It’s hard to be present all the time and all the things we hear, we may not want to hear. It is important that you remain in control and do not drift, but you can be present and listen. Listen to the passion. “Have the Passion”, Why have the passion? Really think about it. Where he came from? Who did it come from? What does it mean to you? How are you going to respond to that? What is your passion? How do you live your passion?
