powerful meditation methods

The intention of meditation is to calm your mind and be able to experience supreme consciousness.

When you start to meditate, it is very difficult to rest your mind. As soon as you close your eyes, your mind starts wandering here and there and you start imagining all possible activities. As if you were projecting yourself in your favorite movie, you would think about your work problems, family struggles and much more.

Therefore, it is important to choose something to focus on while meditating, which will give your mind a specific direction and not wander here and there with random thoughts. You can choose a point of focus, for example an image of Christ or Buddha (depending on your religious practice) or you can consciously focus on your breath. These two are the traditional methods used by siddhas

In shiv manas puja, an ancient scripture says that you become the one you meditate on. Seekers are known to prefer to meditate on the siddha who has attained enlightenment. In meditation, we call up so much energy from the universe and absorb it into ourselves, so it is recommended that we meditate on God.

Focusing on breathing is considered a simple and easy practice to stabilize your mind. It also deepens your breathing, which will work as a healer for your body and mind. Scientifically, deep breaths pump more blood into your body so that it can provide more oxygen to all the organs in your body, eventually your organs will start to function fully.

Observe how your breath enters your body, with the expansion of your chest feel that you are inhaling light and positivity, absorb the goodness within you, you have pumped oxygen for your body that is spreading everywhere, distribute the goodness also with the oxygen to each. organ, every cell in your body, exhales all the negativity and darkness from within. And this process will continue. This process will also help you cleanse your aura.

But it is also important, as the great siddhas advise, that you be generous with yourself and therefore you should not become too obsessed while concentrating on the mind.

Therefore, we recommend that you have 30 percent of your attention on watching your breath, but that alone is not enough. Because you start out concentrating on your breath, but after a while, you lose track and get lost in random thoughts, so the other 30 percent needs to be devoted to continuous vigilance or mindful awareness that you’re focusing correctly. The remaining 40 percent must be left in the open space.

So the percentage doesn’t matter as such, but the three things you need to know are: Focus, Vigilance, Breadth.

One must not drown his thoughts; they will come and go naturally. It’s just that you shouldn’t interact with them. These thoughts automatically turn inward after a few days. Gradually you can rest your mind in peace without facing any kind of distraction and at that point you won’t need a point of focus to start your meditation.

Then you will experience awareness in meditation and you will be able to see your inner being. When you become aware of your conscience, it will be reflected in your behavior, activities and in your daily life. Spiritual life is no different from your daily life. This awareness will remove all anxieties and distractions from your life and make you a more peaceful and calm person. It will bring stability to your personality and connect you with your inner being. You will feel a new confidence in yourself and you will be filled with strength. You become so calm and collected with the events of life, whether they be struggles or joy.

Methods to achieve awakening and enlightenment.

On a deep level, we can say that meditation is using the mind to recognize the supreme consciousness.

The mind, unchanged or not changed at all, will rest in the natural place in the present and this is the state of meditation.

A great saint said about meditation that we are like water, when it is not stirred then it becomes clear, similarly when our mind becomes thoughtless it will find its own peace, well-being, happiness and bliss in its natural state.

The most amazing and beautiful thing about meditation is that it is your most natural state. Remember the most natural state of you throughout the day. It’s your dream. While you sleep, you are free from forced thoughts. You are free from emotions like happiness and pain; it’s just that you are in the present moment.

Meditation is the state where you are simply present with awareness. Your consciousness can witness all the emotions, thoughts or sensations that arise within you, but do not give yourself over to them. In meditation you can reach that deep state where you are simply present with the awareness of your consciousness and are able to see how it becomes one with the supreme consciousness.

You expand in the form of the universe, your consciousness expands from its limitations and becomes larger than your body. It is the state in which your emotions, your senses fade and your vast celestial nature of true being is revealed to you. Just as the sun radiates warmth and brilliance, similarly you become the epitome of love and compassion.

The more you stay connected with your inner being; your true self will reveal itself more to you.

This can be done with the support of many spiritual practices in addition to meditation. Few practices are:

1. Singing

It is the practice in which we chant the name of God with devotion and compassion. Chanting the name of God is the easiest way to reach God. Even the siddhas after attaining enlightenment he used to sing the glory of the god with immense joy. Hymn of the God automatically fills you with great happiness and turns your mind inward. Your mind settles on the god and you experience the divinity within and around you. This will lead you to enlightenment and liberation.

two. japanese mantras

When you took the mantra of siddha being that has the capacity to give initiation or shaktipatthen that mantra comes to life or chaitanya. The living mantra is not different from the god. The repetition of mantras cleanses your being and your karma. Mantra helps you slip into meditation immediately. Gradually, the mantra becomes part of you and subconsciously all the time, it repeats itself within you and then you are in a state of meditation while doing your routine tasks. Few people focus on the mantra while meditating.

3. Swavdhaya

Swavdhaya it is the daily recitation of mantras; it purifies your being and could easily send you into the state of meditation. Svavdhaya stabilizes your mind and provides you with the focus point on the sacred texts and scriptures. The recitation of the scriptures was part of the daily routine of students in ancient times. It sharpens you and tells you the importance of the practices you are doing. This will broaden your perspective and knowledge. You must know what you are doing and what the meaning will be so that you can spread your knowledge to the world. This is the extended prayer to the Lord. This is the essential part of the spiritual path.
