The Chronicles of Madness – Episode 42

In our 42nd episode of Madness Chronicles, we’ll take a look at the madness of America’s leaders and their shocking hypocrisy. Remember, insanity is a state of serious mental illness, extremely foolish behavior, and a frantic or chaotic form of activity. Let’s take a look at a lineup of hypocrisy in 2020.

In North Carolina’s Mecklenburg County, manager Dina Dilorio recently held a press conference announcing that everyone should stay home and self-quarantine over the Christmas holidays. A reporter asked her what she was doing. She answered without a hint of embarrassment that she and her family traveled to Durham to visit her relatives.

New York City Mayor Bill DiBlasio announced that he would be closing all gyms due to the coronabalogna shutdown. Shortly after that, his staff reported that he ran off to the YMCA because it kept him grounded. Later, in Philadelphia, Mayor Jim Kinney closed the city to closed dining rooms. He was later seen in Delaware dining without a mask. What is good for the goose is obviously not good for the goose.

In Chicago, Mayor Lori Lightfoot is not the least bit ashamed of her hypocritical behavior. The city is closed, but she needed a haircut, so she went to her favorite salon and got it done. When she was confronted, she simply said that she was the face of the city, and that if she wanted a haircut, she would do it for her. That followed her allowing protests despite the lockdown … except in the blocks near her home. She ordered those closures.

The Speaker of the House, the infamous Nancy Pelosi, was filmed in her beauty salon in San Francisco. Despite the city closures, Pelosi was exempt. When she was discovered, she said that her salon owner had set her up. She had to cancel a planned Democratic Party dinner that week after all the bad press about getting her perm.

California Governor Gavin Newsom was spotted dining elegantly at the famous French Laundry restaurant he favors. He apologized because he had banned indoor eating of any kind in the state. Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, whose name may actually be in the dictionary as ‘hypocrite’, was caught walking on Virginia Beach without a mask after issuing a mask order. His defense was that he didn’t plan on being within six feet of anyone. Suppose that would work for you and me?

Washington DC Mayor Muriel Bowser traveled to Delaware to hear Joe Biden’s victory speech after the election. When confronted, Ms. Bowser said that despite the travel restrictions she issued in DC, she was exempt because it was “essential travel.” Imagine, these are adults guiding us.

California Sen. Dianne Feinstein was seen chatting with her aides and others, without a mask, minutes after arguing in the Senate in favor of a nationwide mask mandate. Not to be outdone, California lawmakers who support all of Governor Newsom’s draconian restrictions in their states recently traveled to Hawaii for a conference.

Austin, Texas Mayor Steve Adler, who has shut down his town, recently hosted a family wedding reception for twenty guests. The next day he boarded a private jet to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Denver Mayor Michael Hancock issued a tweet warning citizens to avoid traveling for Thanksgiving. That was 30 minutes before he was to board a flight to travel with his family for the holidays.

In case you haven’t noticed, politicians today think they are above the law. They also firmly believe you, and I am stupid. If any of them thought that corona bologne is as serious as they say, they would act like it.

Let’s wake up from this madness before it’s too late. I wish you all good health and until next time, have fun, enjoy life and beware the craziness among us. It’s 2020, look around you; It is scandalous
