Psykeeper Guide and Build

This is one of my favorite Flyff characters. Psykeepers are powerful and have exceptionally strong aoe attacks, making them a coveted commodity for any shredding group. They are so flexible and have so many builds that you can adapt them to whatever play style you choose. Before we get into the building section, I’ll talk about some of the important abilities that the psychic ward possesses and explain their strengths.

Skills:

Demonology: This skill is very useful for arena and PVP. This is one of the most spammable abilities as it has a fast cast time and deals about 500-1000 more damage than the psychic bomb.

Psychic Bomb: This is another good skill use during PVP and also when leveling up. You have a chance to stun your target for 3 seconds.

Cruico Spell – Most players love the ability, and depending on your particular build, it helps a lot. This ability will reflect damage which really helps in area of effect when monsters hit you.

Satanology – This skill is really good because it stops your enemy in their tracks. This allows you to spam and shoot your opponent with all the skills you can muster. The more intelligence you put on, the longer the ability will last.

Spirit Bomb – I would say this is probably your best PVP ability. It is a kind of satanology, since the more intelligence you have, the more damage you will do. You can deal up to 10k damage!

Maximum Crisis: This is the main area of effect ability that the psychic ward processes. Unfortunately it’s not remote, but it’s fine if you’re using the cruico build. It’s also nice since you don’t have to target a monster to start this spell.

Psychic Wall: This is a decent spell, sadly you’ll use it a lot less than the others. I mainly use it when I’m about to die when I’m fighting monsters, I just throw it and bounce off mobs. This is also somewhat useful during PVP if your opponent gets too close.

Master Skill – This is a good skill and you should max it out along the way as at top level it will give you +15 intelligence.

Psychic Square – This will be your other grinding spell, however it has a 10 second dropdown. It is a ranged skill and you can use it to help gather more monsters and also to finish off the current monsters you are destroying. Many psychiatrists on the lam use this spell extensively.

Hero Ability – You will use this ability mostly during PVP. This will petrify your target and disable all healing, MP, and FP. It’s also useful to fight bosses that disable your healing.

Satan’s Psychic Guardian Build:

15-40 Resistance
xxx enter intelligence

This is pretty much your solo build, most psychiatrists with this build will have a lot of intelligence. You will have exceptional damage output and use satanology to root monsters while you bombard them with abilities (prolly spirit bomb). This will greatly reduce your ability to get hit and maximize your damage output. You usually don’t need to upgrade your gear or get high defense with this type of build. Just be mindful of using wands, and preferably look for ones with high intelligence.

Level Up – All you need to do is use satanology so you can stun the monsters so they don’t move and just yell at them. You can use this technique on any monster of any level and have great success. However, I would recommend that you get the help of a ringmaster here and there to increase your kill speed. I wouldn’t recommend fighting monsters higher than level 10. You’ll find that leveling up is a bit slow compared to some of Crucio’s builds, however if you put in the effort and keep going it will save you from repeating at high levels.

PvP – Satanology is your preferred skill here as you can prevent your target from reaching you. This makes you an exceptionally deadly force for other melee classes who will never be able to get to you in time as you unleash your fury on them. Now against your ranged classes you can still hold your own due to your high damage, however after a period of time your hit point max comes into play. Hopefully you can deal enough damage before you have a problem. An underrated ability that I use a lot is the psychological bomb to inflict stuns here and there during the fight. In most cases, this is usually enough to hinder your opponent enough to win the result.

Money: Earning wealth in flyff game will never be one of your problems as you can kill the bosses very easily just by playing solo. This allows you to keep all the drops so you can fill your wallet with great equipment and money. A particularly good place to rack up a lot of money during the early game is fighting cranes, and bombtimers have a high drop chance. You’ll get a lot of gear that you can sell to NPCs, and on some occasions you’ll get good enough gear to sell to other players.

Crucio Shrink Construction:

xxx Your resistance!
Int: You can put points here or there mainly to lengthen some of your spells, it’s up to you.

This build will allow you to level up faster, which is the envy of most players.. Your technique is pretty simple, gather your monsters then cast crucio. Every time they hit you, you will deal a large amount of damage to them.. As you can see, this is extremely effective, especially early game when you don’t have an AoE spell to cast, but in a way Crucio is just that. Unfortunately during PVP this still doesn’t work. Be warned though that sometimes this can be very expensive and you will need a lot of potions and if you can find the ringmaster to be a friend this would be very beneficial. Now for the team part of the equation, it’s different from intelligence based psykeepers. You will want to try to stack armor that has high defense and hit point bonuses. This maximizes the effect of using your crucio ability.

Crucio Leveling: If you want to level up quickly, I advise you to first find a good ringmaster or help. You will need her intelligence and healing buffs and both will benefit greatly. With the help of the ringmaster, you can start grinding monsters 15 levels higher without any problem. Now, to get the most effectiveness out of this, it is highly recommended that you have your crucio skill maxed out, if not, you may have to fight lower level monsters. You have a lot of options here, you can hit monsters then run away (Satanology) after each hit to heal or my favorite technique which uses psywall to repel additional monsters. With your skill level maxed out, you should be able to fight monsters of 30 levels or higher, which will take some time to kill. Be patient and smart, and when the monsters finally die, you’ll see your experience bar jump 🙂 Don’t try to play alone, using this setup requires an assist or emcee, so don’t even think about trying without one.

Crucio PvPing – You can obviously do quite well in PVP as you can take a lot of damage. Unfortunately, the attack is pretty low, which is where you’re going to run into trouble. It will be very difficult to kill other players with high defense and good damage. I would try to invest in wands that have cast time bonuses and preferably buffed around +7 or higher.

Money – Now this will always be difficult for you as you will be using so much food in pots because monsters will criticize you that you will always be suffering for money. Since it is very difficult for you to become a giant, you can accumulate a large amount of money or equipment to sell to NPCs. You can use a hit and run tie up/psywall tactic if you are patient and this will save you some money, but sometimes not enough to be worth it. This is why his ability to level up quickly comes at a price.

Area of Effect Psychic Guardian Build:

50-60 intelligence and the rest you can put in resistance.
90+ at these levels, you want to add a bit more intel for spell damage and elongation

This build is more of a hybrid and in my opinion requires a more experienced player. Your ability to level up isn’t too bad, but not as fast as full stamina building. You will be excellent playing PvP and will have a huge advantage in AoE at higher levels. Now, since you’re a hybrid, you’ll want to customize your armor according to the monsters you’re attacking. This will make a huge difference and you pretty much have to do it or you’re just wasting your time. And as for your weapon, try to find the highest damage you can find (don’t delete it! This will make your damage weaker). At higher levels, your armor will give you a lot more defense and help with your attack ability.

Hybrid Leveling:

With this specific build, you can use the help of an emcee or assistance, or you can solo, it’s really up to you. But again, an emcee or assistant helps a lot, so make friends when you can. Your level 75 aoe does an insane amount of damage, but unfortunately you have a 10 second cooldown. That’s why most psykeepers mostly rely on their level 65 aoe. You didn’t cast crucio to level up, but at low levels this isn’t worth it as it decreases the wand’s durability. I warn you not to attack mobs with aoe that have ranged attacks as this will start to seriously annoy you. After level 80 you can go to the mines to grind, however there are a lot of people there. If you’re patient, leveling out of the mines is also a decent thing to do.

Crucio PvP:

PvP is always going to be a fun time to play with this type of setup, so you’re pretty much set. Your satanology ability can hold your opponents for a good amount of time with your current intelligence. Unfortunately, your damage will be low against others with a lot of resistance. This is a great deal for PvP, but your hits will come from gear you’ve set or found with additional intelligence bonuses. Overall, this build is probably the best of the three for dominating your opponents.
